Juicy Campus.com
I know we probably have all been to juicycampus.com. And if you haven't, avoid it! I had never actually heard of it until my friend from Oklahoma University was written about on the site. My friends from home immediately called me and asked me if I had seen it. I ventured on to the site, only to be completely disgusted. The entire site is dedicated to saying horrible things about people. "Who is the biggest slut on campus", "What do you think of this guy...", none of it is ever good, except for maybe the occasional "Who is hot" post. I will admit that I am addicted now, some of the less demeaning posts are sometimes pretty humorous. The fact that NONE of it is true is what makes it so humorous. Don't people at this school have better things to do than post awful things about people on a website...like homework?

Unfortunately, I have been shown Juicy Campus against my will. The things people have to say is just completely dehumanizing. Lies about my best friends have been posted up and its disgusting how I have to participate and stand up for my friends on a gossip website. Where the people find the time to write such cruel things just blows my mind. I don't understand how someone can live with themselves after commenting on how small some freshman boys penis is. This website should be banned.
Don't even get me started on Juicy Campus!! One of my best friends from SMU was talked about horribly over her looks on there and I was beyond disgusted. This site is awful and anyone who has the time to write things on it, needs to get a life. What is even worse, is that I am anti-Juicy Campus, yet I'm going to the website at least 2-3 times a week to see what has been written, which I guess is only human nature, but hopefully I'll get smart and ban the website. However, the creators of the site are genius because there's nothing more that college-aged kids want to read than gossip, so they're making plenty of money from useless shit on the web.
